A candidate for membership into the Sons of Pericles must fill out the official application, available on www.sop22.com, in its entirety. The form must be forwarded to the Supreme Lodge within a reasonable time of initiation, either by mail or e-mail. The pertinent information will be entered into the Sons of Pericles roster. A member may transfer out of a chapter for good cause. Such transfer fee is $5.00, which may be waived by the Supreme Lodge on a year-by-year basis.

Dues
A member is in good standing if he has submitted per capita tax for the given year to the Supreme Lodge, or if the Chapter is in receipt of the dues and has had a reasonable opportunity to forward it to the Headquarters or the Supreme Lodge. Dues are to be remitted to the Supreme Lodge by June 4th of given year. If the Supreme Lodge decides to extend this deadline, it may for cause.
Dues are $10 per member if you between the ages of 14-17 years old.
Dues are $50 per member if you are between the ages of 18-27 years old. You are also considered a dual member of AHEPA and have the privaleges therof.
Responsibility
One of the main goals of the Sons of Pericles is to instill responsibility in our members. New members and those wanting to renew membership in the Sons must do so of their own free will. All potential and current candidates must utilize the forms on the SOP22.com site. The responsibility is up to each individual to send in their dues as soon as possible with the final date being June 4th of the given year. We expect that those wanting to be members or renew in the Sons in order to enjoy all Philanthropy, Events, Scholarship potential, etc... will take it upon themselves to keep in touch with the web site and their responsibilities in becoming a new member or maintaining membership.
